Although I have a healthy appreciation for a wide variety of subject matter, I often I gravitate towards the natural world; people, animals, plants, landforms, and the like. I aspire to capture a glimpse of the glory of God in creation.

with a Local Flair
Ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil, drawing and painting have been among my favorite activities. Although my path to becoming a professional artist has not always been a straight trajectory, since 2010 I have dedicated myself to pursuing art as a full-time career and a way of life. I am so thankful for the creative talent that I have been given. Over the past few years, I have learned much from experience and other artists. I endeavor to portray my subjects in a way that awakens the viewers to a sense of wonder, to see as if seeing for the first time!
